A Tasneem Foundation Initiative – Monthly Food Support with a Purpose
Introduction
Rizq Relief is a heartfelt initiative by Tasneem Foundation that goes beyond feeding families. It uplifts them with dignity and a vision for long-term independence. Through this campaign, we provide monthly food ration bags to 20 zakat-eligible families, helping them meet their most basic needs while actively supporting them in building financial self-sufficiency.
What We Do
Each month, we distribute ration bags worth Rs. 7,000 to each verified family. These bags are packed with essential food items that can sustain a household for an entire month. All recipients are zakat-eligible, verified through personal visits and detailed assessments
Sustainable Support – A 6-Month Cycle
Inspired by the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we understand that the goal is not just to feed but to empower.

Each selected family receives Rizq Relief support for six months, during which our aim is to help them:

💼 Start or grow small businesses
💸 Build and stabilize monthly income
At the end of each 6-month cycle, a new set of 20 families is selected, allowing us to continuously extend our support to new households in need. Creating a ripple effect of sustainable change.

🤝 If a donor wishes to sponsor a family long-term, we share detailed information privately and respectfully, with the family’s consent

🫓 Atta (Flour) – 10kg
🍚 Rice – 5kg
🫘 Assorted Lentils (Daal)
🥫 Cooking Oil – 3 litres
🍬 Sugar – 2kg
🧂 Salt, Basic Spices, Tea & Milk Powder
☕ Other essentials as required
