Introduction
At Tasneem Foundation, we believe that every human being deserves to leave this world with dignity, regardless of their financial situation. In Islam, the rights of the deceased are sacred, and one of the most important is to be buried respectfully and according to proper Islamic rites.
Through our Shaista Janaza & Burial Aid Support Program, we provide free funeral assistance to individuals and families who cannot afford the cost of burial. From the moment of passing until the person is laid to rest, we take full responsibility quietly, respectfully, and wholeheartedly.
What We Do
The Shaista Janaza & Burial Aid Project is a full-service funeral support initiative that covers everything from ghusl (washing of the body) to burial (qabar). Our services are offered entirely free of cost to families in need.
Our support includes:
⚰️ Kafan (Shroud) and Ghusl Arrangements
We provide the complete kafan set and organize proper Islamic ghusl (ritual washing) with care and respect.
🕌 Janaza Prayer Coordination
We assist the family in arranging the janaza (funeral prayer), either at a masjid or local facility.
🚐 Transport of the Deceased
We arrange transportation of the deceased from the hospital/home to the graveyard.
🪦 Qabar (Grave) Arrangements
We manage burial logistics including grave digging, burial charges, and on-site coordination at the graveyard.
👐 Family Support
In cases of emotional or spiritual need, we connect families with community members or imams for support and dua.
All steps are handled with discretion, professionalism, and complete respect for the deceased and their family.
Who We Help
- We provide this service for:
- Individuals with no family or financial means
- Families who are unable to bear the high cost of burial
- Refugees or labourers far from home
- Abandoned or elderly individuals
- Orphans or single-parent households that have lost a loved one
No one is turned away. If a person passes away and there is no one to bury them, or their family cannot afford the cost, Tasneem Foundation steps in.
Why This Matters
Today, the cost of burial in many urban areas can be over Rs. 30,000–50,000, including transportation, shrouding, and grave costs. Many grieving families are left struggling not just with the loss of a loved one but with the overwhelming burden of how to bury them.

How You Can Help
Sponsor a Burial
The average cost per burial ranges between Rs. (needs to be confirmed) You can fully or partially sponsor a burial and we’ll share a report afterward.
Set Up a Sadqa-e-Jariya Fund
Contribute monthly or yearly to a fund that helps bury individuals as an ongoing act of charity.
